Privileges of LearnLong Membership
Continuous learning and growing is ingrained in our human journey. When you join LearnLong you commit to invest in this journey explicitly. You create prominence not only for your quest of individual betterment but the personal and professional communities you identify with.
LearnLong membership offers you the following privileges:
- Immersion within a community of self-directed learners and critical thinkers
- A platform to design and conduct research within an institutional setting
- Opportunity to participate in research being conducted by LearnLong
- Partnerships with academic, non-profit and industry organizations for learning and research
- An extensive network of individuals who can serve as collaborators and mentors
We offer the following membership options:
- Individual
- Institutional
We offer three classes of individual membership: (1) Life; (2) Honorary; and (3) Clubs.
Life Members are persons who, in the determination of the Board of Directors, subscribe to the purposes of the Institute and are engaged in the interest of education and learning. Life Members have voting privileges.
Honorary Members are persons who, in the determination of the Board of Directors, subscribe to the purposes of the Institute and have distinguished themselves worthy of recognition through exceptional service to the Institute and/or various fields within and beyond education and learning. Honorary Members do not have voting privileges.
Clubs, also called “LearnLong clubs,” are entities who, in the determination of the Board of Directors, subscribe to the purposes of the Institute and are associations composed of persons participating in a continued effort to educate, learn, and participate in collaborative inquiry, study, and discovery.
We offer institutional membership to academic, non-profit or industry organizations on a case by case basis and through the negotiation of a “Memorandum of Understanding” that formalizes the length of the membership and the terms of collaboration.
